Hello,
I am the Best Man for my friend Craig's wedding coming up in a few weeks. Being the BM, it falls onto me to plan out the Bachelor party. Craig and I are a little bit older (early 30's) so the desire to have booze and babes is not really on the menu. We are looking at doing a Mini-Golf event, then grilling at a make-your-own-steak place, and then going bowling before a drink or two.
It may be the "popular" thing to get the groom a gal and do adult things to him on that night, but consider what underlying issues are. While it all might be fun to get wild and stupid, there can be real consequences if it gets too wild. The bride's feelings may get hurt, trust insecurities develop, and so forth.
Remember the physics law: Every action requires an equal and opposite reaction. That will not work in the groom's favor when it comes to bachelor parties.
So, we are looking forward to a night of clean fun and happiness for my friend Craig. I got a chance to use www.evite.com to organize the arrangements.
Till next time,
ARF

I know I'm coming in late on this one, but I just HAVE to comment:
I think it's awesome that you guys didn't do the babes and booze thing. I was actually 18 when I got married, and I didn't do it either. (Coming up on 4 years soon now, BTW) Come to think of it, I didn't actually have a bachelor's party, because every guy buddy that I know said "STRIP CLUB!" as soon as you say bachelor party.
I never did understand that. Why are you going to celebrate getting married by going and checking out somebody else?

How about going to a comedy club? Or a "casino night" type of thing?
