Why does it make you unhappy? If Apple is stepping on small software developers -- and illegally distributing patented designs -- then they should face any civil penalty that everybody else does.

Of all companies, I have absolutely no sympathy for Apple. If an open source, non-profit, small developer was being sued by Apple, then I am definitely sympathetic.
