OK, it's a public holiday in the UK - we call them Bank Holidays over here. But I'm working on a story and i'd appreciate input from some of you network administrator types over there in the US.
Specifically:
Technically, you guys have access to all the e-mails that go through your servers. Have you ever peeked? Snooped just a little? I'm not expecting real names from you of course, but as pseudonymously as you like - have you ever sneaked a little look at someone else's e-mail when you shouldn't? My guess is a lot of people will have done just that.
Another question for you administrator types:
You're always telling us little people we should change our passwords regularly. Quite right too - but how often do you change your privileged passwords, that allow access to the whole network?
Honest answers please - with false names if you like. I have a feeling that the responses may not be all that reassuring.
