If you listen to podcasts then you have probably heard of the number 1 podcast "This Week in Tech". If you have been listening lately you might have noticed that the podcast is loosing focus. No one wants to hear about how advanced your setup or wats going on at dl.tv and Dvorak's blog. I also dont want to hear about how AOL handles all your bandwidth and how the cast members were on vacation recently. In recent shows I havent heard very many hardware reviews or all that much I did however hear that Dvorak has a blog, Leo Laporte is on 30000 other podcasts, Patrick Norton is on dl.tv and on their last episodes they talked about this. Somehow other shows doesnt seem to be the topic of this show if it was "This Week in Promotional Plugs With Occassional Tech" then I guess I would have nothing to talk about here.
Another thing is you do not need to mention Digg V3.0 just as many times as the other cast members shows. Leave it up to Kevin Rose to promote his site he does have like half the internet in the palm of his hand.
The latest episode was entitled "Roots" which I thought would be an answer to what I wanted. However it simply meant they werent on the road interviewing people from conferences. So basically we got promotional plugs from home.
John C. Dvorak gets no spam and TWiT needs to regain focus.
