Despite a government motion to dismiss the case against AT&T for collaborating with the NSA to spy on ordinary citizens the case will still go on. The Electronic Frontier Foundations (EFF) is filing this case in San Francisco courts the home of AT&T headquarters and the supposed room that the NSA was secretly monitoring.
Today the Judge in the case denied the Government's motion to dismiss the case. Which will allow the case to move on to higher courts. In this case as you might have guessed the EFF has filed a class action suit on AT&T alleging that telecommunications company gave the NSA direct access to customers phone calls, emails, and other internet information going over their networks.
