It seems that Google’s the big bad bully on the ground now. One by one its throwing all the companies to the darker side of the force (read out-of-business). While everybody was busy praying for their football team and people betting either on Argentina or Germany, Google woke up from its short slumber and saw Paypal all cheerful and gay. In a moment Google pulled it and decided to throw it away by introducing a new service called Google Checkout.

In a move that critics refer as ‘Paypal’s death bell’ Google’s new Checkout will help users to stores their credit card information with trusted Google and use Checkout to shop online. Google is already making big online shops to support their services.

The big question is will it be Paypal’s doom or will both co-exist together?

I'm not sure, personally.

I know there are other payment services on the web right now, but in my vernacular, PayPal is synonymous with payments online.
