Google. That is something that more people should use, instead of turning to forums like DaniWeb first, clogging up everything. Google is the website you should turn first when you have a problem, because chances are that someone else has had a very similar problem.
Why don't people do it? I rarely post questions on forums, because I can usually find the answers via Google. When I do, it's because I've exhausted all the other possibilities.
Google is also useful for answering questions. I can usually find the answer for someone, even if I have never heard of it before, by just using Google. It also helps reinforce what I already know.
I know Google will not always have the answer, so that's when you post to a forum. And not before searching the forum first. It's amazing what you can find if you do a little homework first.

The difference being that the answers here at DaniWeb are effectively filtered through a net of user experience and moderatorial knowledge, which means you can be fairly sure that what you end up with is correct.
The same cannot, sadly, be said of Google.
