Bit of an update for y'all.
Im cleaning up like mad in anticipation of the arrival of my g/f tomorrow and my room is a mess, strewn with cds books, boxes and general geek-ware like silly gadgets im never likely to use in the near future.
Another little silly idea i have had recently is to do a bit of a dancy track for a group im in right now. something of a theme tune. Problem is, i dont know music, nor do i have experience in any program other than Octamed and Quartet, both of which are extremely old Amiga programs. And i have neither an Amiga nor said programs. So im in the poop.
I have tried some other basic programs like Dance eJay and so on, but they are sooooo limited im resisting taking them up again.
I also messed about with converting some of my movies back to DVD-R recently, ran into alot of problems with regard to many of the freeware/shareware programs out there boasting they can do it, then falling over or just not even trying. Converting from DVD to DivX or XviD is easy really, but going back again so i have a DVD-R i dont mind lending out or being scratched. Not so easy.
Anyway i found Ace Video Workshop that did it in one go, then i just author the Mpeg2 to DVD with an authoring prog, simple in the end.
If you have any ideas about the music thing, please do either PM me or leave a comment with your ideas. I'm honestly in a domain i have never been in before when it comes to music.
p.s. i cant read music either
Yes i know i suck, thanks.
Go do some work.
