I'm more of a hardware guy than software -- Just coming up on 20 years of digital and mixed-signal integrated circuit design. I know how to write hardware description language code, I've written just enough C to be truly dangerous, and I work on a Linux system in my day to day job.
At home, I am, among other things, the de facto expert on our single desktop PC, but I am fairly clueless in that role.
I"ll help when I can, but for the time being, I think I'll be receiving more help than I dispense.
