Greetings;
My name is Vernon, from Brownsville, Tx.
I started with PCs in the late 80s, and am on my 3rd Toshiba notebook,
and my 1st MacBook Pro.
I have been programming with Delphi5 of and on for a few years, and am just beginning to learn Python, wxPython and Boa Constructor, by chugging thru the Boa/Pythin Help files.
So I'll be asking dumb questions for a while.
Python, because it will run on both PcCs and MACs. I am hoping that pgms written in PC/Python will run on MAC/Python.
See yous!

Yeah python is interpreted so it should run on any system that has the python VM installed (as its open, its available for most platforms)

Hi vernon, welcome to Daniweb!

Hello Vernon, and welcome to the Python forum. We are a small, but growing number of Pythonians, Pythononistas and Pythonurus. I see you didn't waste much time and already posted on the forum. Hope you enjoy programming in Python as much as I do.
