I work for a cellular provider.
I do programming in VB6 and transitioning to VB.Net. A little bit of Perl also.
I mostly write parsers and load the data into a MySQL DB for my own use. Makes the job easier. I also write front ends for the DB.
If ANYONE else on this forum works for a cellular provider [using Nortel switches], and writes parsers, PLEASE say hello.
I don't have many hobbies. I deer and duck hunt. I love helping my cousin farm - pick corn and soy beans. I have a garden in the summer, freeze in the winter, work during the day and sleep at night. I have a HAM radio license (advanced) but have not been active for almost 18 years. May take it up again when I retire.
