My name is Rick Ford. I have been in the high-tech industry for over 20 years. I have held positions in hw/sw engineering at companies such as Digital Equipment Corp, Data General, Bose and more. I am currently a Senior Technical Writer at Siemens Corporation. I started an ecommerce store in 1998 called Cyberteria.com specilaizing in home theater equipment sales. It did quite well for four years until the consumer electronics business climate became hostile toward independent etailers. I now own a custom install business I run locally called wachusettav.com which brings in some part time income. Although not as lucrative as the 'good old days'.
