Downtime

Hey everyone,

I want to apologize for today's downtime. Unfortunately, the database ended up corrupted and we had to restore a backup from 4am.

Problem occured at 4am
It took until 8am for me to wake up and notice DaniWeb was down
It took until 10am to figure out the database was corrupted
It took until 12pm to realize that trying to repair the database was futile and doing so crashed the server
It took until 2pm to restore an sql backup from 4am
