About Daniweb Members

Hello every-single-body :)
I wanna ask you several questions.. Where should I start from? :-/
Well..
1. Who is Dani in this website? :icon_mrgreen: I really don't know.
2. Where are most of the members of this website from? I think most of you are from India, aren't you?
3. Why do I see some professional members that have only 1 to 10 posts?
I think this is because they're already registered with other nicknames.(No offence :icon_eek:)
4. How does it happen that people here misunderstand each other frequently?
Do some feel that others are their enemies?? (Also no offence :icon_eek:)
There.

Dani's member name is cscgal .

Members are scattered all over the world. Why do I see some professional members that have only 1 to 10 posts?
The majority of our members ask one question, get the answer, and don't return. The number of active members (those who post regularly) is relatively small compared to the total number of registrations. How does it happen that people here misunderstand each other frequently?
Communicating with text is imprecise. You don't have the visual cues from face to face conversation, and the language barrier of non-native English speakers or even differences in education/writing ability can be significant.Do some feel that others are their enemies??
I have no enemies here, though I'm confident that the feeling isnot mutual given my posting history. ;)

Yeah I noticed that too.. It's embarrassing because they post threads to solve and may go away with no return if they find the solution. So, the "poor" thread remains without being marked as solved, which throws the community into chaos!
By the way, isn't there anyway for the moderators to mark those threads as solved?Communicating with text is imprecise...
I agree with you.. I always suffer from this issue, though I was bad at English in the past and caused the same problem here :DI have no enemies here, though I'm confident that the feeling is not mutual given my posting history.
LOL.

But where are you from, Dani? Where is Dani from?

You're not going to turn in yet another internetstalker, right? ("ohmygod, it's a woman on the interwebz!!"). Anyway, here's some global info about Daniweb and Dani.

See? That's what I mean by misunderstanding!!
So what if it's a woman?? I knew she's a woman (as appears on her image) from the very beginning, but I only thought she was a moderator.. That's the whole idea.
I dislike it to judge others quickly! I'm innocent :D
Anyway, thanks for the information.

I think it needs to be marked as solved since you've got what you want. Why did you mark it as unsolved again?

A perfect example of misunderstanding. WhatNick Evan said was a joke. It was "tongue-in-cheek" (look it up). The appropriate response would be "LOL! No, but I hear your sister is cute."
