IRC on web

What would be the chances of seeing a IRC client embedded into a page on the site?

I would happily sit on the chat most days at work however it's normally blocked by our internal proxies and thus it would be nice to have a direct way to actually access the IRC. We might even see the activity on it pick up as a result :)

That would also work, not sure how I missed that in the original post!

A web-based IRC client is actually on the todo list, but it keeps getting pushed back to take care of Google-related priorities.
