Downtime

OK ... that was just absolutely ridiculous. I made a small change to a file and for some crazy reason the bitfields got corrupted and DaniWeb no longer had the permissions settings for any of the CMS (blogs, tutorials, etc) features. So pages were throwing back database errors left and right. So I go fix the file that got corrupted and ... lost internet access. And for a half hour my cable modem just kept resetting itself. WHEW! Crisis over. That was crazy.

Yeah it was a disaster b/c DaniWeb was broken until I reuploaded the file, and I didn't have internet access to do so! How frustrating.

isnt annoying how everything always happens at the same time, as in - as if it wasnt bad enough daniweb had a few probs, your net was going off as well...
