all I see is a small square in the upper-left corner of the window with I click that link. Is that what you are talking about?

Re: problem IE (runonce) has taken over my browser

No ... that's just a little help icon. His problem is that IE runonce has taken over his browser (based on his post title). Misplaced thread.

Unfortunately, that doesn't clear up the explanation. I still don't know what he means.

Maybe switch to FireFox... IMAO it's better anyway.

Re: problem with Internet Explorer (runonce) has taken over my browser

OK! lets see, I have a problem with Internet Explorer, a virus or whatever it is named (runonce) keeps redirecting my web browiser
so that it does not open in my home page
instead it goes to (go-microsoft.com) adn then
(runonce//msn.com) or something like that with a blue blank screen
