How about redirecting

daniweb.com/forum to daniweb.com/forums ? since I guess it is one of the most common typo.

I never type it manually -- just click a link. No point in wearing out my fingers :)

I think it's a good idea. Some people consider the entire thing one forum. i.e. in the context "I run a forum." Aside from that, sometimes people make typos, so it can't hurt. In fact, we redirect ww.daniweb.com to www.daniweb.com for those people who make typos.
