South Florida Hurricane

Expand Post »
Did anyone get hot by the hurricane in south florida here. The cable was out in place for almost two weeks. Many were without power, phone, ect.. Lots of trees were down everywhere, curfews, and overall a big mess. Things seem to be restores now.

Re: South Florida Hurricane

Living in California, we watch every year as parts of the south are destroyed by hurricanes, tornados, and the like. And we wonder why people are more afraid of earthquakes!

Though living in some forested areas can mean you deal with the anual "once in a decade" firestorm. :-(

Ironicly, trailer homes are more immune to earthquakes than many 'solid' buildings.

Re: South Florida Hurricane

One of our friends has a home in Florida and the roof had a tree through it, but fortunatly they were up in safe, dry Michigan.
