DIV-X To VCD?

Does anybody know how to convert the DIV X format into VCD?
I would also like to find a program that cut movies into smaller pieces, for example an 1400 Mb big movie into two pieces a 700 Megs..
I Would be grateful if anyone could help me with this problem..

do a google search or go to download.com for movie spliters. i'm not sure but i dont think you can convert divx to much just because of the way it is compressed. and personaly i dont think you want to because a 1400mb movie in divx could be more then twice that in avi. you would end up with something like 3000mb.
