first math class in uni

well i started university and i took up comunications engineer.
so there is a lot of math envolved and my first day was hell.

this is what i understood from today.

teacher:good morning
// class starts

teacher: blah blah blah blah. blah blah, blah blah blah.
and for a hour and a half that was the case

my problem is that i come from a british nation curriculm IGCSE in that system they dont teach you calculus.

i know i know it was a shock to me too.

i'm screwed.

btw there is alot in common between math and computers how about you add a math section in the forum.
just a thought.

ow well i need to go and study if i have any hope of understanding tomorrow. i dont even want to pass i will settle for just understanding.

Good luck! Does your school offer tutorial services? Also ... for math-related computing, use the Computer Science forum - that's exactly what it's there for!
