Phenom vs Core2 Quad?

Hey everybody, Just lookin for some advise as to which is a better all round processor, the AMD Phenom or Intel's Core2 Quad. I hear there are benifits to both.

I've heard that Intel's Q series is still better but haven't compared myself. That said, I find it funny that the study compared Intel's first Q chip with AMD's not yet released 2nd round of chips...
