Silly Questions

Hi, I am mad and just have a few questions that if somebody could answer will be great...

Why does people create malware? spyware? I mean WHY?????

Life would be easier if you could surf with no risk...

Well, I feel better now :)

Maybe malware, spyware and so on are created by folks with Linux machines to discourage the use of the Windows OS. :)

Now my silly question:
"Why doesn't the sun shine at night, when we could use the extra light?"

I read on the internet that many of these programs are created in China by folks most likely under contract from companies that write Antimalware and Antispyware software.

I've got the "antivirus vista 2009" (worm or virus, I don't know), it did his thing and immediately offer to clean my computer for 90 dollars, that's why I got mad, they mess your computer and then try to steal your money!!
People who does not know how to fix it will pay...

Both statements are false -- the sun does shine at night, just not where you are. And I've seen both the sun and the moon at the same time.

The "antivirus vista 2009" comes in from visiting porno sites. There are ways to get rid of this pest, just google. I am told that it is a very nasty program that keeps reinfecting unless you know all the tricks to get rid of it. Maybe it's a program put out by the righteous Christian Right to punish the axis of evil doers. :)

Sounds like you're familiar with it? :D

Anyway: NOD has a online-scan that detects the virus according to their database.

I got it from a pop up window, the problem was that I had several windows open and I thought I click enter to respond to my window and the pop up window came out and installed itself, I didn't realize it did it until it asking me for money to get rid of the virus... and yes, it is a pain to get rid of it, but I did.

1) It's because of the challange.

2) The guys that run huge botnets also make millions of dollars, so money the root of all evils is one reason. (The same reason people mug old ladys)

I still think one of the best viruses ever written was one that would encrypt the whole of your hard drive and display a message with a ransom for the key to decrypt your drive.

3) The ego of saying to people "I did that"

Having written viruses and exploits (This got me in alot of trouble) it was for me the challange, i didnt think of the consequences and sure people still hate me for it. It was a very big mistake that many more people will make weather it's for the learning experiance or for money. I can not think of a deterant for this, and while there are computers there will be viruses and malware.

You get extra light during Daylight Savings time.

What I want to know is, how come we don't earn any interest on that daylight we're saving?

We'll get back our interest when the sun changes into a red giant and incinerates the earth :)
