fake emails
hey i wasnt sure what forum section i should ask this in but watever. Alright i have heard alot about people getting scamed by emails either saying they are paypal or steampowered.com or some other company, how can u mask your email to make it say it is from some1 else. I dont want to scam anybody i just want to scare the hell out of a couple of my friends.

Instead of typing direct url for example http://www.google.com and letting email client to make it hyperlink ... you can use Yahoo. This will mask Yahoo to google :D

You can use email spoofing from the command line, although you can easily tell they are fake by looking at the header info. Then most ISP disallow such action.
