Yes, it goes a bit faster if I know what I want to type. Also if I use Swype it goes quite a bit faster.
I heard blackberries are faster for typing than software keyboards, but I don't have one.

the microsoft speach api, it is surprising, it does exactly what was promised, but the configuration time is long, there was six months where keyboard editing almost everything the v r wrote,until it learned my accent and pronunciation

Yes, There's another speed typing test here: http://www.calculatorcat.com/typing_test/ which prompts you to type more realistic and grammatically-correct sentences.

Honestly, before I got this 63 WPM, I was getting 50s, but I tryed about two times till got the 63 and 66! ;)
