what do you think about printers?

Expand Post »
Printers are so sensitive nowadays. Printers are mechanical beings that are very susceptible to paper jams, fuser failures and lots more. If the printer user doesn't know, how to solve it. Then the IT crew has to come down and try to fix it. Now if you have a big company, this can be very time-consuming. Most printers have for this open compartments to the fusers/paper rolls/etc. But really shouldn't printers just operate without these tweaks?

Re: what do you think about printers?

I don't do printers. Printers are the devil!

Yes, a working printer would be a lovely thing. As the local "Dave, you're good with computers. Mine is broke. Fix it now!" guy, I would have to say about 60% of the problems are the printer has stopped working. It's a pain in my butt to say the least.
