Normally I'm an avid Everquest II player, but I decided to try this out based on the good reviews. And it's awesome! I can't get over the visual effects and how beautiful the game looks without bogging down my high-end machine (ala Vanguard). The world feels big and looks great.
Gameplay is intuitive and fun, not to mention familiar for anyone who plays MMOs. This is the only game I've been playing that I didn't turn off the music except in a few choice areas.
But the best part, and the reason why I'm posting a thread on it is the character designs. I can finally create a character that looks good enough to develop a really strong and unique personality. Attached is my main, isn't she adorable?
I prefer text based mmorpgs. They have _ a lot_ more depth than normal graphical rpgs. The current MUD I play is called achaea. Its really cool. You can do almost anything!
>So this is how you look eh?
Why would I want to look like myself in a game? No, I develop a good personality for roleplaying and then try to build a character that matches that personality. So far this is the closest as I've ever gotten.
>Ragnarok and WOW. They consume a _lot_ of time.
I haven't played Ragnarok, but I got bored with WoW in no time.
>So I guess its good bye Everquest for you. ;-)
I'm not allowed to play multiple MMOs?
