New Radiohead album

Hi guys and girls. Has anyone else heard the new Radiohead album In Rainbows? The gimmick is, you can choose what yoy want to pay for it on their website.

Yes I have heard about that. Someone said it reminded them of when Prince sent out 3 million copies of his new album for free and then sold out around 20 concerts. Radiohead also has some concert dates coming up.

I've heard it's meant to be very like 'eraser', which I didn't like so I haven't gotten it as of yet.

I think this could be a great advantage for them as artists usually get paid a very small amount per album sold anyway so even if everyone only pays 20c for the album they come out on top. This could be the end of greedy record companies.
