I found out a great HOWTO on configuring and using Subversion.
This is actually the
most straightforward Subversion tutorial I've ever seen.
It includes:
- authentication over SSL (with Apache2),
- permission management,
- multiple repositories handling,
- as well as hints for every-day work in command line and GUI.
A definite must-read for everyone who thinks SVN is too complex to set up at home.
