sfuzzy letters

Expand Post »
Hi, I am new and in need of advice...I am not a computer tech simply someone who needs some sound advice I used my sister's computer in another state and now her letters on the monitor screen are fuzzy...I don't believe I altered anything when I was working on a slide show in Kodak Easy Share other than the brightness.

Any suggestions..I would hate to be banned from her computer when I visit her at the holidays.

Re: sfuzzy letters

its a thing called cleartype. Its supposed to make text more readable on LCD/TFT screens (it does but takes an age to get used to)

in xp right click on desktop and do properties, apperance tab then click the effects button and change "use the following method to smooth screen fonts" combo box from "cleartype" to "standard"
