what the f@#$ is this .asf file!!!

I've tried to open the .asf files with most of the playerrs on this planet but no use....do u guys know how do u crack them open!!!!

.asf is Microsoft's proprietary format for streaming media via one of the latest versions of Windows Media Player.

it can be played by downloading a codec from microsoft.com if you are using a previous version of media player.
