Hey ya'll... I'm currently "shopping" around for a school to transfer to from the community college I'm attending. It's always been a life long dream of mine to live in Manhattan so, naturally, I'm looking for schools in and around that great city :P
I've been looking into a school called Hunter College which is located in Manhattan. My question is, what is the "quality" of a Bachelors degree obtained from that school in the IT field? I know it's not going to compare to MIT or anything, but is it at least decent?
See, I'm not really worried about getting a degree from a GREAT school because I already have 4 years of programming experience for a company and I've been working in the IT department at the school I attend now for about a year. My main reason for getting a degree is to put something behind my experience. I know my experience will carry the most weight but I also know that where my degree comes from matters too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
