Convert XML data to sql table through coding in ASP.Net2.0

I am working in asp.net
but new to xml

q: I have some data in xml format.
I have to convert the data to SQL table and display the data in web page through gridview through coding.

the problem is as i am new to xml I dont have any idea how to do this
