getting my images on a search engine images search result

hello everyone,

i was just curious if anyone could instruct me on how to get the images on my website [ www.patrickmillard.com] to come up when i google my name in an image search. the website comes up in web search as the first listing, but the images aren't on there when i image search myself.

anyone know how i can get the photos from my website on the images search result?

Hi Patrick,

Just add ALT tags to your images - with how you want the SEs to show your images.
For example, the picture on your home page may have alt="Patrick Millard Art Photography" or alt="www.patrickmillard.com". You do not want to overload this with a lot of terms so that the search engines will look favorably upon your site (i.e. so they do not consider this spam).

You can also add the images to your site map (when you ad one).

Google has this new feature where others can categorize your images as well.
