social media predictions for 2009 - halfway thru

I found an old post on Mashable with 7 predictions for social media in 2009. Here is the list:

1. Social Media continues rapid growth
2. Business networks surge as economic crisis grows
3. Many free services will become defunct
4. More traditional broadcast television movies on-line
5. SM changes offline behavior
6. Expanded SM searches for product and services
7. Marketing budgets will continue to shrink

Of the seven, I can only say that #4, 6 and 7 are either true or coming true. Obviously, #1 is a given. Does anyone have any thoughts abou #2,3 & 5?
