So what is this Troubleshooting Dead Machines forum?

The Troubleshooting Dead Machines forum was created to troubleshoot and discuss general hardware problems. It should be used as a catch-all for threads that don't fit anywhere else ... and also for threads such as "My computer won't POST" or "I'm getting random reboots" when you're not exactly sure what the problem is.
