Make a movie clip. The image will be loaded inside thismovie clip, give it an instance name. and try loadmovie.

Actually there will be a wallpaper section and all images will not be available for large viewing. But the tool tip idea is great. I must add a tool tip there to make the site more...

You need a different technology for it. As no Indian regional language font is "Web Safe". You can use images instead, but that is not a good idea.

Typo is good. But is there any rule that u can't mix images with typo. At the end it is a website, only with typo it looks very simple. Use some images to make it attractive.

Site llok-n-feel is good. Use a background-color when hovering a link. If u make it like a blue box (like your active-link) when mouse overing the links, I think it will look good.
