Help Symantec 8.x Error Message During installation

I have a Dell Optiplex GX250 desktop with 20GB hard drive space, Pentium III processor, with 246MB of RAM. The operating system is Windows 2000 Professional and Symantec is 8.1 Corporate Edition....

Nope, I definitely only have one stick of memory in there and it's 128MB. It's a desktop Optiplex GX150. The BIOS memory sees the full 128MB but when the error comes up it only sees 48MB of memory....
