For games like BF2 and HL2, like server_crash said, you would be better off with a 256mb card. But don't just buy any 256 meg...

You might have played with the display settings. Sometimes when we switch the display to a secondary monitor or projector, the primary display will shrink. It might be something like that.

And just in case the specs I gave dont mean nothing to you, the 6600GT would be worth the extra money. The 6600GT is almost twice as good as the 6600.

The technology of these cards is older, they dont perform as well as the 6600GT. If you want to buy a lower priced card, I wont stop you but you wont get the same result.

The 6600GT AGP will be fine.

Your system is not that bad. Apart from the video card, only your celeron processor is not the best for gaming. In gaming, from Intel, Pentiums are better but you dont have the worst celeron so it...

try doom 3, and far cry, it wont run very well. ut2003 should run fairly well on a system like u have its normal. half life 2 isnt the most demanding recent game so i think its normal for it to run...

I wouldnt bother buying this as it wouldnt mane much difference from your current cards. Like Coconut said, you shouldnt look at cheaper cards than geforce 6600GT or radeon x700 pro. The latest games...
