I ran HiJack This again, just to make sure..................and it's back. I took a snapshot of some files that were created in my System32 folder around the same time my computer...

It's not there. I've had the "Show hidden files", etc. checked in normal mode for a couple of days now. I'll try the other steps and let you know what happens.
