Free hosting is not the answer. Even most low cost hoster, while giving you lots of space usually provide low quality, slow performing websites (especially those running on databases).

I agree with WebDesignExpert. Spending the time posting to a hundred blogs might be better invested in producing quality content on one or two blogs and marketing your small group of websites.
