What's the error you're getting?
I looked on Dell's web page and there were two NICs (not counting the wireless ones) listed. Have you verified that you have the correct driver?

Have you verified the pc cards work by putting them in another laptop?
Have you tried some other pc card in the slot (like a wired ethernet adapter)? Does it work?
