ewido is primarily an antispyware and will work fine with avg( i use both). but avg and norton will clash. if you need to take norton out, once uninstalled you will need to run the norton removal...

Before you try anything else, is power getting thru, are the fans spinning/lights on. is the HDD spinning up, you should hear it.
if all seems ok,clear the cmos.
disconnect power lead, hit the start...

check out the ground wire on the fan. these sometimes go. it can be sorted by removing the ground wire from the block and grounding it onto the metal casing beneath the keyboard with a bit of solder...
