- Politically on the left; to the extent that I think Gordon Brown is a Facist. One son, two daughters, one step-son and two grandsons. Married twice, now separated. Have a degree in sociology and a doctorate in social policy and social work. I used to teach at university but am now a (not very successful) businessman. I think I love computers too much. Nearly as much as I love coffee. But not as much as I love radical social thought and the Open Source Movement.

My main work PC is running XP pro on relatively up to date hardware: Athlon64 Dual Core 3800+ with 1024MB RAM, ATI Radeon X1050 128MB Graphics Card, 160GB SATA HDD, USB2, Firewire and DVD-RW
