- Born in Europe, spent next 20 years in equatorial and southern Africa, came to the UK in 1971 and settled in London.
Discovered IT in 1982 when introduced to Wang (brilliant Dr Wang invented virtual memory whilst working for IBM) - spent the next 15 years working in the IT field, within advertising agencies and City banks. First had a PC on my desk at home in 1983 with a massive 5Mb Winchester drive (makes you laugh, doesn't it, now that 100Gb is entry level).
Now settled in a wonderful coastal town - I can see the coast of France from here - and living with my husband who has become a brilliant painter and is making a living from his art.
