First off I am not certified in anything and totally a hack. But I can read. I have no formal training in MS products. I have evaluation editions of SQL SERVER 2008 and Window 7 . I have successfully networked a DC on one server, to an SQL SERVER 2008 application server, to two clients workstations running Windows 7. My question is when I am on Windows Explorer on any of the four Machines, I cannot "see" any of the SERVER machines in what might formerly been called network neighborhood. In other words when I click on Networks and then the domain name, I only see clients, never servers. My intuition says I am missing a security setting. I would appreciate any guidance.
