Really wanting a google wave invite... can anyone help me out?

It is practically impossible to teach good programming style to students that have had prior exposure to Basic; as potential programmers they are mentally mutilated beyond hope of regeneration.

+1, but as far as I am aware, it is not available in the UK yet for anyone

AJAX is not a programming language, scripting language or any other sort of language.
It is acheived by using JavaScript http functions.
So, AJAX = JavaScript.
