I finally got everything working! It was a long process, and I could have easily screwed up my operating system, but thankfully it is working now.

N3wb13,

From within Windows 7, go to computer management (right click on computer, select manage), navigate to disk management, select the hard drive with Windows Vista installed. From there you can right click on it and select delete volume.

This will remove Windows Vista from your machine. Should you require additional assistance Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 Support Forum located here http://tinyurl.com/9fhdl5 . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams.
