Thanks for the reply. I have optimized my images and css now, saving 60-100kb. My main stylesheet is valid. The stylesheet of jQuery framework uses several attributes to make site usable in different browsers but does not validate. That is the reason I linked validation button to validate my main CSS only.

the css that displays on your site does not validate, the code that does validate is not what may causes the site to fail to display,
better perhaps to remove the css button till
IE6-7 ff-3 opera-9 go the way of the dodo,
(or untill css3 becomes more adopted,)

most of the 'errors' are css3 enhancements that do not work right yet, in any browser
ff3.54 IE8 opera10 begin to use css3, but the three do not support the same subset of css3, and none of them support all of it

Yes I think I should take that "Valid css" button off. Thanks for that link, quite informative. Do you have any other opinion about the website?

Some parts of the site use fixed size text, px, 10px is 1.8mm high on my screen, and does not resize if I Select larger.
the W3C reccommended fonts sizes for screen display are em and %, each of these automatically resize around the basefont set on each users screen
10px is too big on a blackberry (200/120)
10px is ok 800*600
10px is small 1024*768
10px is ridiculous at 2460*1720

1em 100% = users default font size
setting 0.85em or 85%, gives text that is small but readable on everything, even for Aunt Maude who is blind as a bat, and has a basefont set to 48px
setting 1.25em 125% gives noticeably enlarged text

I have made the necessary changes. Can you please confirm if its displaying correctly? I can't thank you enough
