We have successfully developed and Level 2 certified an EMV Kernel for ATM Machines. The development was in Microsoft .NET C # environment. We have also developed a cross platform high-level communication protocol,to allow banking applications to communicate across multiple platforms including Win95, WinNT, Solaris and AIX. The implementation was in C++. We used Gem Plus card readers and Java enabled Smart cards. The hardware abstraction layer was provided by Kalignite ( www.kal.com ). The Kernel was certified by EMV Labs in Spain.
We is now maintaining a Off-Shore development center for their next generation financial flow management solutions for Bank treasuries such as:
a) Site for Italian Post Office Bank: This facilitates customer transactions online and various other utilities like balance updates, statements, last transaction reports etc.

b) SwiftNET banking solutions: These are typically solutions to facilitate various banking activities carried out between banks in Europe, both central and commercial ones and involve developing complex workflow based on messaging systems. The actual messages are specified in the SwiftNET specifications for seamless interoperation between heterogeneous banking systems throughout Europe to be able to carry out international and national banking transactions in a uniform, and technology agnostic way. So accordingly, the jobs involved developing workflow solutions based on JMS using IBM Websphere AS and Websphere MQ and designing the workflows based on a visual tool developed internally. The workflows being designed are BPEL 2.0 compliant so that they could be developed in a engine neutral way and could be uniformly deployed and run on any orchestration engine which is BPEL compliant.
